Noel at the Kerry Film Festival, with Ned Dowd

Noel Harris is a writer, director and producer based in St. John's, Newfoundland. Noel has approached film with a level of passion and intuition that has already brought him recognition from his peers and the industry.

Noel is currently writing the screenplay for his feature-length film. Gros Morne is an intense character drama about the relationship between a young female counselor and two boys at a reform school.

Noels short film Two or More was screened at the annual Los Angeles International Short Film Festival in September 2006!

Two or More was selected in the Category International Short for competition in the 2006 Samhlaíocht Kerry Film Festival in Ireland.

Two or More was accepted into the 26th Atlantic Film Festival and was screened as part of the Atlantic Focus program.

Two or More was one of six scripts selected during a province-wide competition sponsored by the Newfoundland & Labrador Film Development Corporation. The chosen scripts were then workshopped with Howie Wiseman, a Gemini nominated writer and director.

Noel's adapted short script Be Strong Honey was chosen in the 2005 competition.
